I am an Idaho Licensed Master Social Worker and therapist at K-Counseling & Anxiety Treatment. I practice from a strengths-based perspective, drawing from several therapeutic modalities, including CBT and EMDR. I approach my work with clients with unconditional positive regard and a person-centered focus. I strive to build a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients where they feel safe and supported on their healing journey. Cultivating hope and resiliency is central to the work I do with individuals, as it helps clients to identify their strengths and to reach their full potential. As we begin to recognize our unique abilities, capabilities and learn new skills, we are better able to identify our own solutions which leads to empowerment, confidence, and a greater sense of well-being.
In my spare time, I enjoy digging in the garden or tossing a ball around with my pups. I love being outdoors, hiking or bike riding. Reading is my great escape, letting me be anything I want or go anywhere without ever leaving my couch.

My name is Hannah Martinez, I am a new intern studying Psychology at Boise State going into my senior year of undergrad. I have a twin sister who plays college volleyball and an older brother who is in law school in Boston. I love playing volleyball and I played collegiately for two years before a back injury. Anything I can do with friends and family are things that bring me the most joy. I am majoring in psychology because I people.
